Labeled "Copy of David Techler - Made in Germany"
Well over 100 years old, this 19th Century German violin is in excellent condition, with no major repairs done to it (or needed!). It has a rare, 1-piece spruce top featuring bear claws, and the grain getting slightly wider towards the bass side of the instrument. Also, it has a stunning, 1-piece maple back!
Set up with an Aubert bridge and Kaplan Amo strings, it has a healthy sound, with the resonant qualities you would expect from an antique instrument. For more information, please contact us!
