"Hundreds of tiny air pockets, grids, and 3D meshes are fused into each synthetic orchestral mute we make. These microscopic patterns (micro-structures) control for acoustic fidelity and dampening characteristics. And allow us to craft a flexible yet form-fitting mute that borrows from the acoustic profiles of rigid, natural materials."
Besides looking absolutely fabulous, these mutes are strong, flexible, and surprisingly effective. This model functions better between the D and G strings rather than centered over one strings. The hole just makes it easier to squish it into position.
